Pulling the "make it about me" card

Its irritating when you discuss race and some racist moron tries to derail the conversation by making it about themselves.

This doesn't just happening with talking about race, thats why I dubbed it the "make it about me" card.

Don't you hate it when someone asks you whats wrong, you begin to tell them and they hijack the entire conversation and somehow make it about themselves?

People have the "must talk, can't listen" complex. Their life is bent around on having to get their voice heard so much they never take the time to actually just listen. Sometimes the answer is found by just listening and not talking so much.
