What is domestic terrorism?

We all know what terrorism means. 9/11 paints a pretty good picture of that. But there is another term out there called "domestic terrorism". Domestic terrorism means terrorism that happens within your own country by citizens of your country.

What happened on 9/11 was international terrorism. The terrorists were not citizens of the US. So what would be a good example of domestic terrorism? The KKK, Neo Nazis, Skinheads and any other white supremacist group. One could argue that skinheads are probably more like a gang than terrorist group because they like most other gangs have shit for brains. But nonetheless all these groups cause terror on the American public.

But what is so scary is how America deals with domestic terrorism compared to international terrorism.

There is something of the sort that I would like to call hypocrisy. It seems America wants to stop terrorists from other countries, but it allows its own American brand terrorists run free in America.

You could say this has to partially do with race.

These same terrorist groups we are fighting in the Middle East would not get away with what they were doing even if they were formed and started in America...why? because they are not white.

The reality is, white people are less likely to oppose terrorism if it comes from white people and the terror they bring is not directed at white people.

White society benefits from terrorists such as the Neo-Nazis. Most white people would never outwardly admit they support them because they want the benefits that come with not admitting your a racist. If white society really wanted to get rid of these terrorists they could have, easily. They are hate groups and free speech does not cover hatred. The very fact they don't try to get rid of these groups only shows how much majority in society have a support for these groups. They benefit from them because they are not victimized by them.

When you are a minority in society you may be subjected to much more victimization than a white person, but no one will care. The police are not here to serve black people but to only harass them and terrorize them, (I classify the police as being like Germany's Gestapo).

White society is okay with the KKK and Neo Nazis because they target minorities, and if white society could have things done their own way, they would have all minorities destroyed.

The reality of terrorism is that one has a better chance of running into domestic terrorism than they do international terrorism. But its sad that developed countries want to destroy terrorism that comes out of the 3rd world but do not care to destroy terrorism that comes from within its own country.

Another reason America will not respond to its own terrorist groups besides race is because developed countries have the tendency to believe they are somehow better than other countries and there is no way they could possibly have the same problems as other countries. No American (well at least white american) would ever believe you if you told them the truth. To them terrorism is equated to being a 3rd world thing. Americans have always had the problem of seeing themselves correctly. The rest of the world laughs at the egotistical American "I am superior to you" attitude. America has yet to realize that of all developed countries its behind all of them, even Japan and even Austrailia are more developed than America.

In the end, if America falls, I truly believe it will be at the doing of Americans own hands, not the hands of other people from other countries.
