What the Anthony Sowell case proves...

somewhere between 8 to 10 if not more women were killed by a black man by the name of Anthony Sowell, all or most of those victims were black women.

The scary irony of this is that those bodies were only found by a single fluke, the fluke being that Sowell, a convicted rapist was not showing up to his parole officer.

To any black person this case is much more than a bunch of innocent women being murdered (and probably tortured too), this is about race and well not being rich.

If you look at the news often you will always see upper class white women as the headlines. Never do you hear about black women. Nancy Grace may occasionally spend half of her show talking about a black woman or black child, but often her show is too much to bear for most people as she often will interrupt her guests and ever since the birth of her child she has been more occupied about showing that child off than anything else.

The scary thing about this is that if you look at past serial killings, the toll number did not even get as high as the one in this case before news media was all over it. Yet we are only hearing about this case a dozen victims in.

This leaves the glaring question, where are the police and why were they not doing their job?

The amount of black people who trust the police to do their job is far and few. Most of us all know that the police aka the gestapo do not serve blacks, they certainly don't mind harassing them or humiliating them, but they are not there for you when you need them.

Poor people can almost say the same thing although for poor whites their ordeal still isn't as bad as the ordeal even a rich black person will probably endure.

There is a recurring theme with police these days, and thats how they are always unable to do things until its too late.

I once said on someone else's blog that if people want to get away with a crime or have a likelier chance of getting away with a crime, all they have to do is target black women. Black women are the least cared for by police and society and media itself.

Its scary how this many women can disappear and not a national outcry is even shown how many of these women's lives could have been saved had the police actually looked into the whole thing when it was happening.

Some would say just be glad he finally got caught. There is a good chance this guy will go to jail, not because he killed alot of women but because white society will jump at the chance to throw away any black person they can. In this case, I don't think any black person would care for the motives of a white person for having sentence him to jail as long as justice gets served for these women.

But in the end, it makes one think just how many people like Sowell are in your neighborhood. Its scary just how many rapists and molesters and other bad people live in one neighborhood alone. Why don't they tell the people of a neighborhood that a creep will be moving in so they can take any necessary precautions?

Its scary as a black woman myself knowing that I could be a victim and I have a great likely hood of being murdered by them and the culprit getting away with it.

Society is so stuck up on being ignorant about race that they let murderous dangerous people off the hook, doesn't anyone besides me see what is wrong with that picture?

I guess one shouldn't be surprised considering society's way of dealing with crime is not trying to nip the crime in the bud but trying to make the crime someone else's problem. (diverting the crime to another neighborhood or city, so the crime doesn't go away but it becomes someone else's problem).
