Could Identity be easier for those who are half white?

This thought just literally came into my head moments ago...but its an interesting one at that...something I wish could be experimented and tested.

I came across someone's blog who was talking about how it can be hard when it comes to identity especially racial identity when you are of two minority races.

Black is probably the most strongest dominant gene out there, you mix with it, the likelihood of the person looking black is higher than the opposite.

But regardless, I can see the trouble. Minorities have it harder than whites in America, yes the level of degree of hardness each minority has is different by each race. But each minority race has responded to racism over the decades by building strong identities and histories of their own.

When you are half white, you are already exposed to that standard culture that is white, that doesn't need a strong identity of its own as it has no one to combat. So all you have to worry about is that other.

But what about being mixed by 2 minority races? It becomes harder to incorporate those cultures and identities into your life. Because neither are the standard so you actually would have to go out of your way to find and experience both, if one chose to.

Often when we think biracial, we think mulatto first, followed by anything mixed with white. But it would be interesting to know the experience of someone who is biracial but is not white at all.
