Maybe because its political....

I came across this article in which the "blogger" was asking why there is a double standard in how Condoleezza Rice and Michelle Obama are shown in political cartoons. This "blogger" was saying how Condi is shown in overtly racist ways while Michelle is rarely shown in racist ways in the political cartoons.

He asked why the double standard. Well the answer is that its not a racial issue to begin with. Its a political issue. If you look at many of the cartoons, they were making fun of politics and not race. Blacks didn't care that Condi was being made fun of because, like Bush, they disagreed with his politics. People of course would get mad if you made fun of Michelle, as she is not politically active in the same way Condi is. Michelle is the First Lady. Not to mention Michelle is not in the party with the worst President of the 21st Century (at least as of now).

Its really not a double standard that Condi was made fun of more than Michelle...its all about the political party you affiliate with.
